Brand research for HomeStreet Bank indicated most people value community service. With that in mind, I created a series of Facebook posts around National Volunteer Week to highlight a few of our employees. Below are two posts from the campaign.

For #NationalVolunteerWeek2017, we’re proud to shine a spotlight on our dedicated employees who donate their time to causes they care about. Our first featured staff member, Jennifer Larsen, wears many volunteer hats: with the Portland Housing Center, Bethany Elementary School, Bethany School PTO, and kids’ soccer and softball clubs. Says Jennifer: “I volunteer to make a difference for my family and my community.” Jennifer works just as tirelessly for HomeStreet as a VP and Affinity Relationship Manager.

Today’s #NationalVolunteerWeek2017 spotlight shines on Amanda Xayasane, Senior Fraud Investigator. Amanda recently donated her time offering tax preparation assistance through United Way of King County’s Free Tax Campaign. She valued the interaction with diverse people and is looking forward to volunteering again. “I gave the volunteer manager advance notice: I’m returning next year!” Amanda says.
